I recently returned from a backcountry trip to Friends Hut in South West Colorado that included a 11 mile entry, touring, hiking, creek crossings, serenity and spectacular views. What am I missing in this whole picture, that’s right, wine and cheese! I packed a box (easy to burn) of wine called Black Box Malbec paired with Brie and Gouda Cheeses and summer sausage for our first night apre. After an exhausting tour to our cabin, the pairing and setting set the mood and left the group satisfied.  There is nothing better than good food, friends and spectacular scenery!
